100 CLUB

Gresham Benevolent Fund

We are pleased to announce the launch of the 100 Club. The purpose of the 100 Club is to raise funds for the Gresham Benevolent Fund, which is an independently registered charity. The 100 Club is open exclusively to Gresham Club Members.

Outline

> For a cost of £5 per month per ticket (£60 per year), you will be allocated an unique number which enters you into each monthly draw to win a share of the monthly pot as a 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize.

> The prizes will be based on a percentage of the monthly ticket income pot and will be apportioned as: 1st prize of 20%, 2nd prize of 10% and 3rd prize of 5%. (Example: Monthly Ticket income pot 100 x £5 = £500. Monthly prizes would be 1st £100; 2nd £50; 3rd £25).

Joining the 100 Club:

> To enter, payments must be received by 1700 hrs UK on 22nd March before the first draw on 25th March 2021 and received by 1700 hrs UK on the 22nd of each month thereafter.

> To ease administration, please make payment either as single annual payment of £60 (preferred option), or by setting a 12 month Standing Order of £5 per month for 12 months. (please email trustees@gcbfcharity.uk if you set up a Standing Order)

> Either method should be paid to our CAFBank account using the following details: Account Name: Gresham Benevolent Fund; Sort Code: 40-52-40; Account: 00033683 (IBAN: GB97CAFB40524000033683). Please include the reference 100C[SURNAME].

Members may join in any month for 12 draws. Unfortunately no refunds will be given.

Process:

> The 100 Club is classified as a "small society lottery" and is open only to Members of The Gresham Club. If there are less, or more, than 100 participants the monthly pot size will be pro-rated accordingly

> The draw will be made by a Trustee of the Gresham Benevolent Fund. The draw will take place on the last Thursday of each month, either at a “Drop-In-Drinks” (during lock-down) or at the monthly “Club Table”.

> Payments to winners will be made by bank transfer to their nominated account. The names of the winners shall also be published by Club email for transparency. There will be no limits on the number of times a Member can win.

> The 100 Club is run by the Gresham Benevolent Fund, which may make reasonable adjustments to the rules from time to time. In case of any dispute, the decision of the Board Of Trustees is final.

The Gresham Benevolent Fund Trustees would very much like to thank those who take part in our “100 Club” for their contributions and wish them every success in the draws.
