The Gresham Club Table - 27th August - at the Guinness Open Gate Brewery

Join us from 12.30pm for our Guinness drinks reception followed by a three course meal with wine at the Porters Table.

The Guinness Open Gate Brewery, located between Leicester Square and Covent Garden tube station, stands on Old Brewer's Yard, a historic site where beer was first brewed in 1722. Originally a major 18th-century and Victorian brewing powerhouse that produced porter, it was later used for bottling Guinness Extra Stout. There will be a three course meal with wine (and of course Guinness) held within the Brewery at the Porters Table Grill.

Starter

• Porter's Buffalo Chicken Wings, glazed in Guinness with pickled celery and Cashel blue cheese ranch dressing.

• Salt and Pepper Calamari, Saffron aioli

• Heritage Tomatoes Salad, Virginia olive oil, garlic, thyme and oregano

  
  

Main Course

• Free Range Pork and Fennel Chilli Sausages, mashed potatoes, greens, Guinness gravy

• Fish & Chips, Lemon IPA batter, tartar sauce, crushed peas

• Guinness Braised Beef Pie, mashed potatoes, seasonal greens. Guinness gravy

• Salt Baked Beetroot, sunflower seed tahini, sumac, endive, crispy chickpeas. (vg)

• Strawberry Eton Mess, Lemon curd, strawberry cream, meringues

• Guinness Gusto Ice Cream

• Malt Chocolate, Pistachio or Vanilla Ice Cream
